We're Lala and Alex, the husband and wife team behind Perth Digital Screens. Lala has spent more than 23 years in the Perth wedding and events industry, and still works in it today, so she's seen just about everything a wedding day can throw at you.

For much of that time, Lala worked as a wedding stationer, designing the printed pieces that bring a day together, seating charts included. And time and again, we ran into the same frustration. A guest drops out, a table gets rearranged, a name changes, all in the final days before the wedding. But printed charts don't bend. Between print deadlines and printer queues, updating a seating chart right up until guests walk through the door was near impossible. We knew there had to be a better way.

At the same time, we noticed something shifting. Couples today live and share their love story in photos and video, from the first date to the proposal, all beautifully documented. It felt only natural that their wedding day should move the same way, alive with the moments that brought them there.
